A series of working groups may be initiated according to identified needs.

Working group on database building
A working group on the database building has been formed. The group will propose a way forward for building the ClimMani database. The group members are Claus Beier, Leon Linden, Jens Kattge, David Leaver and Ivan Janssens. Please, contact Claus Beier.

Working group on ClimMani conference 2011
A working group has been established to arrange the ClimMani conference in cooperation with the American INTERFACE network. The internal conference committee consists of Claus Beier, Bridget Emmett, Bjarni Sigurdsson and Karin Hansen.

Working group on soil respiration and responses to climate change
The WG will examine the potential to organize a small (3-4 researchers) workshop to write a review paper focusing on soil respiration and responses to climate change. Rien Aerts is in charge of the preparations for the workshop. The tentative timing for the workshop is 2010/2011.

Working group on youang scientists workshop
This WG works on a two-week workshop focused on analyzing responses of terrestrial ecosystems to climate manipulation and on writing a review based on these findings. This workshop will be arranged in Belgium and organized by Ivan Janssens in February-March 2011.
